Interfacing with the Digital Alert Display Device (DADD)

The Digital Alert Display Device (DADD) is a low-cost, flexible, wearable display for soldiers. It enables a commander using a Commander's Digital Assistant (CDA) to wirelessly issue critical commands (e.g. halt, cease fire, NBC detected) to soldiers. Each soldier's DADD then responds by vibrating and activating the appropriate icons. The hands-free DADD enables soldiers to review orders without taking their eyes off of the battlefield. Aveso manufactured the display and Primordial provided the software.
